WCC Ecumenical Water Network Summer School, Ecumenical Institute at Bossey
Twenty WCC young adults gathered at the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey in Geneva, Switzerland for the Ecumenical Water Network's, Water Summer School. The culturally and ecumenically diverse group of young adult participants came from over fifteen countries throughout the world, to share information and best practices concerning the global water crisis as it relates to thier context. The group met with water experts from many regions of the world to learn from their work in advocating for the human right to water through national government and international organizations, as well as local communities. Significant time was also spent reflecting on the biblical foundations for a renewed perspective on the sacredness of water in our lives.
