WCC Stewards Program and Ecumenical Leadership Training Seminar-2009
The World Council of Churches is looking for several young adults (18-30) from all over the world to participate as stewards for the next Central Committee of the WCC, and participate in ecumenical leadership trainings to held in Geneva Switzerland, August 19th-September 4th. About 150 church representatives, advisors and observers will gather at the next meeting of the Central Committee, which provides many opportunities for "on the job" ecumenical formation for young adults. Additionally, the leadership training seminars equip young people with skills and resources to continue their work on issues important to the churches at the regional and local levels.
Applications are due March 31, 2009.
