Universal Day Of Prayer For Students To Be Held On February 23rd

 

Every year, the World Student Christian Federation (WSCF) hosts the Universal Day of Prayer for Students, the oldest existing ecumenical global prayer tradition. This year's liturgy and Bible study have been prepared by Rev. Ejike Okoro (Nigeria), on behalf of the WSCF-Africa region, and can be downloaded on the Ecumenical Resources section. If you host a Day of Prayer for Students, please remember to write reports and take photos of your celebration, and send them to wscf@wscf.ch, so the diverse experiences of this prayer around the world can be shared.

Also, in light of the recent earthquake in Haiti, the WSCF is encouraging everyone who participates in this celebration to take up a collection for the student victims. Donations may be sent to the WSCF Latin American and Caribbean Regional office. Information is below.
