NCC Ecumenical Work Week 2008
The US Conference of the World Council of Churches sent down an ecumenical young adult delegation to work in the rebuilding process of New Orleans during the National Council of Churches Ecumenical Work Week, August 17th-23rd, 2008. The group worked in home construction, and engaged in theological group reflection on the social injustices that still affect segments of the population three years after Hurricane Katrina.
