Christian Churches Together 2011 Gathering
Attention Seminarians & Students! Christian Churches Together in the USA (CCT) invites young leaders, students and seminarians for a day of observation and conversation during its 2011 gathering in Birmingham, Alabama on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. The theme this year is poverty and race.
Christian Churches Together is a new forum growing out of a deeply felt need to broaden and expand fellowship, unity, and witness among the diverse expressions of Christian faith today. CCT is inclusive of the diversity of Christian families in the United States — Evangelical, Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Pentecostals, historic Protestant, Racial and Ethnic churches. CCT provides a context — marked by prayer, theological dialogue and fellowship — in which churches can develop relationships with other churches with whom they presently have little contact.
